Amantii vs. Modern Flames: Comparing Fireplace Technology, Smart Features & Innovation
Today’s electric fireplaces do far more than provide supplemental heat—they’ve become intelligent design features that combine advanced flame technology, customizable lighting, and smart connectivity.
When comparing Amantii and Modern Flames, it’s important to look beyond appearance and evaluate the technology that shapes the overall experience.
If smart controls, realistic flame effects, customization, and installation flexibility are priorities, here’s how these two brands compare.
Smart Fireplace Technology
Homeowners increasingly expect their fireplace to integrate seamlessly with modern living.
Many premium electric fireplaces now include:
- Mobile app controls
- Remote operation
- Programmable timers
- Adjustable thermostats
- Flame-only operation
- Multiple lighting scenes
Amantii has continued expanding its smart fireplace lineup with models that include Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to control flame settings, lighting, and heat directly from a compatible smartphone.
This level of convenience is ideal for homeowners looking to integrate comfort into their connected home.
Bluetooth Connectivity
One feature that helps distinguish many newer Amantii collections is Bluetooth control on select models.
Bluetooth offers quick, reliable local connectivity without requiring an internet connection, allowing users to adjust fireplace settings directly from a nearby mobile device.
Depending on the model, Bluetooth can be used to customize:
- Flame colors
- Ember bed lighting
- Canopy lighting
- Brightness
- Flame speed
- Heat settings
- Timer functions
This provides another convenient control option alongside traditional remotes and Wi-Fi-enabled models.
Holographic Flame Technology
One of the most exciting advancements in electric fireplaces is holographic flame technology.
Amantii’s Signature HOLO Series uses advanced projection technology to create flames with greater depth, movement, and visual realism than traditional LED flame systems.
The result is a layered flame presentation designed to resemble the dynamic appearance of a real fire.
Combined with realistic log media and customizable lighting, holographic technology delivers an immersive focal point for luxury interiors.
While many electric fireplaces—including those from Modern Flames—use high-quality LED flame systems, holographic projection represents a newer approach for homeowners seeking an even more lifelike flame experience.
Flame Customization
Both manufacturers offer adjustable flame effects, but customization varies by model.
Features available on select Amantii fireplaces include:
- Multiple flame colors
- Adjustable flame speed
- Variable flame brightness
- Multi-color ember bed lighting
- Ambient canopy lighting
- Decorative media options
- Real wood log sets on select collections
- Mirrored fireboxes that enhance visual depth
These settings allow homeowners to tailor the fireplace’s appearance to different seasons, holidays, or room designs.
Indoor & Outdoor Installation
Not every electric fireplace is designed for outdoor use.
Amantii offers a selection of indoor/outdoor-rated fireplaces suitable for:
- Covered patios
- Outdoor kitchens
- Pool houses
- Covered decks
- Four-season rooms
- Hospitality and commercial outdoor spaces
These models make it possible to extend the comfort and ambiance of a fireplace beyond the home’s interior.
When considering any outdoor installation, always confirm that the specific model is approved for the intended environment and follow the manufacturer’s installation requirements.
High-Output Heating
Electric fireplaces are typically used for supplemental heating, but heating capacity varies.
Many Amantii built-in models can operate on:
- 120V for standard installations
- 240V hardwired installations for higher heat output (on compatible models)
Certain models can deliver up to 10,000 BTUs, making them well suited for larger rooms where additional warmth is desired.
Smart Home Convenience
A premium fireplace should be easy to use every day.
Depending on the model, Amantii fireplaces may include:
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- Bluetooth control
- Remote control
- Adjustable thermostat
- Programmable timer
- Independent flame operation
- Multi-color LED lighting
- Adjustable ember bed illumination
These features allow homeowners to personalize the fireplace experience throughout the year.
Installation Flexibility
Technology is only part of the equation—the installation options also matter.
Amantii offers fireplaces designed for:
- Single-sided installations
- Three-sided installations
- Bay-style viewing
- Built-in applications
- Wall-mounted installations
- Indoor installations
- Outdoor installations
This flexibility makes it easier to incorporate advanced fireplace technology into a wide range of residential and commercial projects.
